2007 - 2008 Concert Season: Classic Choral Celebration

Now in its 16th season, Vanguard Voices continues its mission to expand the boundaries of choral music in the metropolitan Detroit area. Vanguard Voices is unique in our community by eliciting and performing new choral works from composers around the world. In the past four years, the Vanguard Premieres Choral Composition Contest has recognized 20 new compositions from composers on three continents. Vanguard Voices has premiered these new works – as well as three specially commissioned pieces – to an enthusiastic audience.
