2002 - 2003 Concert Season: Celebrating Our 10th Anniversary
Join us as Vanguard Voices celebrates its 10th anniversary with a joyous new song!
Over the past decade, Vanguard Voices has sought the best in traditional and contemporary choral music and has performed it with warmth, strength and precision. Vanguard Voices is gaining recognition as one of the finest mixed-voice choirs
in the world, placing second in the prestigious International Musical Eisteddfod in Llangollen, North Wales, in 2001. This season Vanguard Voices will premiere a
work commissioned for its 10th anniversary celebration. Dearborn native Steven Errante’s Sing to the Lord a New Song, based on the text of Psalm 96, is the first commission in a Vanguard Voices initiative to promote the creation of new choral works by established and aspiring composers.
